Best Buy No Longer Allowed iPad 2?

According to CrunchGear it appears that Best Buy might have landed themselves in hot water with Apple and its handling of iPad 2 sales:

A reader who works at Best Buy told us that there’s been a bit of a misunderstanding between the electronics retailer and Apple. Apparently, Best Buy was holding off on selling the iPad 2s it had in stock, telling customers there weren’t any when in fact they had just reached their quota of sales for the day.

Tim Cook is apparently involved with the ongoing saga and another anonymous tipster has said:

The mammoth electronics retailer has had all stock except demo units pulled

**UPDATE**
Apparently there is no dispute between Apple and Best Buy…the following is a statement issued by Best Buy:

“Best Buy continues to receive iPad 2 inventory from Apple on a regular basis. As we’ve said previously, we are fulfilling customer reservations first. Our stores have been asked to temporarily hold non-reserved iPad 2 inventory for an upcoming promotion. This is a customary practice for us when there are supply constraints. Best Buy enjoys a great partnership with Apple, and we’re delighted by customer response to iPad 2.”

iPad 2 Online Shipments Improve (slightly!)

iPad Online Shipments

It would seem that the shipments for iPad 2 has improved slightly from 3-4 weeks to 2-3 weeks. It appears that this is relevant to all countries that Apple currently ship to and not just the USA.

‘We Believe’ TV Commercial For iPad 2

Apple has recently released its first TV commercial for iPad 2. Unlike previous commercials for the original iPad, Apple has decided to highlight the experience of using the device with a voice-over rather than showing off a quick succession of apps.
